what is the monthly fee for independent living
$2757 per month for huge Studio with kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, cabinets, and 2 electric burners. It includes continental breakfast, lunch and dinner and electric. They also provide weekly cleaning and linen laundry. A coin operated washing machine and dryer are on every floor for clothes. Every room has emergence call alarm button. There is a movie theater showing all day and evening. Daily activities and trips. Magnificent rooftop lounge. My mother has been there for 2 years and loves it.
Usually places such as the Flushing House for elderly people cost around 5 to $7,000, but tomorrow I can find out exactly how much if you would like.
$2,900 a month for a studio, with breakfast, lunch, and a wonderful supper!!!
In the lunchroom they don't have anyone that speaks Cantonese, but there are many many elderly Chinese that live here!
