I am a retired electrician . I was fortunate to be a part of a wonderful union. In 1974 a waited on a line to get an application. I was 1802 on the line on a Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.the union was giving out 2000 applications. When I was accepted and became an 1st year apprentice in 1977 my life changed so much for the better . I always worked hard not only as an apprentice but through out my carreer. I would do it again . I was able to have a family and provide them with a comfortable life style. Local 3 was my success and with my retirement I am still receiving the best benefits imaginable.. Thank you Local 3 ibew.

Works getting slower, unless your planning on applying to the apprenticeship program I dont think you'll have much luck..... Also good luck going anywhere with that cocky attitude...
It is all about money. If it saves the GC money. They do not care how you get the job done! Call OSHA then the real BS STARTES!!
Are we off on Columbus Day? Are we off on Veterans Day?
Nothing, all travel costs to first job site of the day are the responsibility of he worker unless special deals are made. Subsequent trips throughout the day are supposed to be reimbursed by the employer.
Short answer, no. You have to work for a non union shop that gets unionized or get accepted into the apprenticeship
You have to sign a waiting list for a job in another local in the ibew.
Shop guy
Ask the union member.
Depends on year
Got to take a test
Depends on the division. Elevator division has an inlieu of day.

Ask your foreman to contact your employer to ask to send you a new form. Sometimes the foreman may have some printed already to fill out on the spot.
9 am to 10:30 am is morning break time. Most members call at this time, which explains the busy phone lines. Another time to avoid would be from about 11:45 am to 12:30pm
Get accepted into the apprenticeship or work for a non union shop that gets unionized.

Your full work transcript can be obtained from the hall since you first became a dues paying member. Keep in mind that of your trying to obtain this transcript to apply for an electrical license, you'll need to get this from the employer (the license holder from the particular shop(s) you were with)
go to aclu local
I suggest you call the apprentice department and ask them. There is a call for manpower although I don't know if there is a call for more apprentices.
Christmas is usually the 25th of December
Nearly all doctors associated with NYU langone accept Magnacare. I'd check them out.
