Procedures are offered as a way to relieve pain without narcotics. Sometimes patients (not you) request medications that they feel work but are considered dangerous and are no longer prescribed by most physicians. I never push procedures on patients and never repeat procedures if a patient says they are not effective. Please share with your doctor if a procedure is not helping. There is NO reason to keep doing it! There are always alternatives!
You don't have to keep taking those if they are not working for you. You can request nit to receive ANYMORE if they don't help. And yes they are expensive they make more money giving those and any other types of injections. Because you go in what they call an ambulance room and that is expensive. But you have a choice to choose what works for you. You have a right to refuse. If you prefer the meds let them no that.
