I have been a patient with SIPA since '16 when a doctor there consulted on one of my legal proceedings. Much like everyone else I was shocked when the previous doctors and NP were gone overnight and replaced with Dr Smith. Whom I have never seen. She repeatedly canceled and pushed back my appointment and each time I asked if she would still be able to submit my meds. I was anxious to be seen and figure out why the drastic cuts to medication to a patient she had never laid eyes on and who told me she couldn't find extensive records on me. This past month they went on vacation for a week, refused to fill my prescription till they see me and pushed my appointment out another 6 days. After trying to contact them over a dozen times (documented), two trips to the ER, (I have new cervical damage due to suddenly coming off my medication.) I was told they would prescribe me something to help with discontinuation syndrome. Which they haven't yet. I take care of a terminal cancer patient, my ex-husband, and our my daughter who has the same genetic condition that led to his cancer. Needless to say we have spent a lot of time in the medical system and this is far and away the most jaw dropping treatment I have ever seen. I mean who pushes out appointments for life or death treatment and then uses not seeing a patient as an excuse for discontinuing treatment? In the next few months my ex-husband and I will be giving testimony on the Hill in relation to patient support. This treatment is one of the reasons that the speech I wrote just went through the shredder. Edit - 09/22/22 - I have now been diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. Between the sneezing and vomiting I have had two discs herniated. Meanwhile a prescription for a drug that is no longer available and would be dangerous for me to take was called into a pharmacy. One that has nothing to do with what I am experiencing. The pharmacist thought it must of been a mistake. So far I haven't been contacted.

Rude and unprofessional to say the least. KP referred me to this place for placement of an intrathecal pain pump but when I called to set up an appt you get an out of date voicemail saying they're on vacation but it dates back several months now. I left numerous messages asking for a call back and even went on their website to book an appt and fast forward 2 weeks later and not a single call back after multiple voicemails. Finally reached someone on the existing patients line but the woman rudely told me they weren't accepting patients. When I kindly told her about the voicemail issue and my experience rather than keeping it professional she got an attitude and told me well sir "I'm not ashley". Guess what I don't care, do you take pride in your work? If so maybe pass along the message and in the meantime take responsibility for a failure in your system and look after the overall well reputation of your employer. It's as simple as an apology and making sure the voicemail is changed to reflect that you're not taking new patients so people seeking your services aren't waiting, often times in pain, for a doctor they'll never see. This place is obviously full of rude and incompetent administrators so I'd imagine the culture eminates throughout the staff so I'd steer clear if you can. Surgery is one of the most impactful things you'll ever have to take part in so make sure you're in good hands. Zero stars for the staff at this place, your staff should be reminded regularly of the hippocratic oath and take it to heart. Hope you guys have a culture change soon. God Bless

Dr Smith is very nice and the office staff is as well. I’ve been going to this office for 12 years and I have always had a great service and care. I have recently noticed there is a longer wait time but that’s due to Dr Smith being the only doctor at this time. I do have confidence that things will work out soon and she’ll have some help. If your considering this office I give it a go. They really are good and will work a plan to help you in feeling better.
