I agree, I stayed at the place after sunset, there was no one to close the park, people were still enjoying their evening. I am not even sure how the park can be closed - there was no central gate or anything that would prevent people of going in.

I thought it was closed after dusk like any park but apparently that's not the case anymore. I recently enjoyed a after dark picnic there with my family. At which time I saw several people fishing well after dark.
