Why is crab so expensive when it's so plentiful in our area. I mean seriously in Boston Lobster basically it's sold in McDonald's, because it's so plentiful just like in Maryland crab is so plentiful, so why is it so expensive in our area??

Crab isn’t as plentiful as you think. It was way overfished in the past 40 years hence why so much is imported from Southeast Asia. Also a lot of crab is brought up from the Carolinas and sold as Maryland crab. The crab populations in the bay are still trying to recover from overfishing hence the high prices.
