I need a handicap ♿ card for my car. I have a son with autism and I have the doctor paper. If I go in person would I get the handicap car o sign for my car the same day? Or is better to mail it?

From the stuff I read on penndots website, you would get the parking sign and a temporary wallet card if you walked in to do the paperwork. You would then be mailed the permanent wallet card. Based on when I went 2 weeks ago, go early. Get there just before they open if you can. They are very strict with social distancing still. People have been waiting in line in the parking lot.
