If you take the 7 get off at Vernon Blvd. Then take q103 towards Astoria and get off at Vernon Blvd and Broadway.
Depends a lot on where you are coming from. One option that may not come up on gmaps is to take the ferry to Astoria, which stops next to Socrates sculpture park
If you get off the 7 at woodside and then take a bus, think it's Q103/Q104 and then get off at Vernon Blvd, you should be able to walk from there
