Only outside in the summer. Great venue with great sound. Couple of major issues though. Firs you line up outside for hours to get a great spot to watch the show just to watch hundreds of people being allowed to bud in front of the line from the side entrance of the bar attached to the concert hall. Second issue is the seating area. There are very limited number of seats on the second floor which all belong to season ticket holders. Many of the seats/sections are empty but remain closed instead of letting others use them. Third issue is the lineup for pizza. If you don't go as soon as you get through the door, be prepared to be in the lineup for over an hour. No set up line and people just keep budding in front of you. Service also is very slow with only 2 people working the stand.
No
Only outside in summer
No, there are huge indoor facilities
Shows during the winter are usually held indoors.
The venue is indoor outdoor. Indoor is 2200 capacity, outside is close to 5000. Outdoor season typically starts late April early May and rubs to about the first week of October. However sometimes shows in the summer will be inside so always check the announcement of the show you want to see as to whether its in or out.
The outdoor Amphitheater is strictly seasonal and any show time that is upcoming with adverse weather in the forecast, including winter weather, will be held inside.
Indoor/outdoor venue
During the winter, all the shows are indoors, but there is a bigger outdoor venue for the warmer seasons.
The inside isn't nearly as big as outside but it's still pretty big with two levels. This is probably my favorite of the smaller, big, venues in Columbus.
All shows are inside
They have a large indoor venue too.
