Next Saturday I want to bring my family of 10 to the Diner for lunch on 7th ave for my granddaughters birthday. Would they allow me to bring in a cake into the diner.

You should call to make the arrangements for a large party the place is not too comfortable to sit all 10 people together, but if you call to let them know in advance make they can fit you all together. I'd call and ask. They do serve dessert so I'm not sure.
