What documents are required to transfer jointly held property, held by H/W, husband has died.... what documentation has to be provided in addition to an original death certificate ? Is there a filing fee ?

If title was vested in h/w, then she became the owner upon his death by operation of law. No docs needed.

You would have to go to Surrogates Court and either file an Administration or Probate Petition - Documentation on the estate should have a will already stating the living relatives inheritance - Filing Fees depend on the decedent's passing in the county - (Richmond) but it will probably be around $50 Dollars
