I WENT TO SPEAK TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY AND THE COP AT THE DOOR ASKED ME WHY DO I NEED TO SPEAK TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY SO I TOLD HIM AND HE SAID I CAN'T SEE HIM DON'T TALK TO THE POLICE IT'S NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS

The lady I spoke with on the phone was a bit rude and dismissive. She kept saying to go to the county clerk’s webpage to find the info and rushed to hang up. It feels like that’s their answer no matter what question you ask. I was extremely frustrated.

Horrible service, they aren't even open and there's no other place to go so guess there's nothing for me to do
Nicole Peach

Yes you can go to the 2nd FL at the Richmond County Clerk and ask for a notary
Go in and ask, they use a system called JDLS and can look it up on the computer. Or you can use the terminals farthest away from the desk to check it yourself. To be honest, if you know how to use the system you can access JDLS from any county clerk office in the 5 boroughs.
File a notice of claim form. First check out the action and see if there was a surplus monies form filed by the bank. That will tell you how much was paid above the upset price. You can also check the action to see if any other parties have filed a claim. Your other creditors, if any, will generally have the priority claim.
