Less then 10 mins away in cab and only a couple stops away on the S train from 42nd street. The shuttle train has a grey color S you can take that is very easy to travel.
Not very far. But in the heat of summer, I suggest taking the subway. Take the 7 train to Times Square and not the S. There is less walking involved in GCT and an escalator at TS
