Even though it’s smaller than a lot of other theatres I've been to, the view was still good from center mezz.

A real vaudeville icon, the Palace Theatre is one of the largest venues on Broadway. It was opened on March 24, 1913, and has the stunning seating capacity of 1,610 seats. Due to its huge capacity it was one of the most desired venues to book. Many of its musicals were stunning successes. Along with the multiple vaudevillians of their time, it has seen great shows like Holler If Ya Hear Me, The Temptations and the Four Tops on Broadway, Sunset Boulevard, The Illusionists, An American in Paris, West Side Story, Annie, and many, many more. The last musical to be set on the stage of the Palace Theatre was Sponge Bob Square Pants The Musical. I have to admit that this one is far from my favorites as possible, it achieved high critical and audience acclaim, and remained as well – loved by people with kids. After Sponge Bob Square Pants finished, the Palace Theatre was closed for a large – scale renovation. It includes the building of a hotel and a retail structure. One of the Palace Theatre’s curiosities is the urban legend about the death of acrobat Louis Bossalina. As the legend goes – he fell to his death somewhere in the 1950s. The truth, however, is that he indeed fell during a number in 1935, but survived and died some 18 years later in his home, age 61.

Depends on the show. I saw spongebob the musical there and you had to remain seated until intermission
No pictures are allowed during the show. Before the show you can snap away.
No pictures while show is in session. No recording.
$125 each ticket. We went to TKTS day of and got them half priced. Awesome show!
Probably yes!!
Go further west for parking I would definitely go online to check prices out also thank God congestive pricing hasn't started yet enjoy yourself but always have a good attitude about spending money in NYC. Because that's gonna happen
Spongebob the musical ended in September so you can't get any more of those
Broadway
I work in the theaters and sometimes see the house management and staff add a free standing chair in the back of the theater if someone is too tall/big for the chairs that were bought. I believe the side back orchestra has some free standing chairs that have more room than most as well as some box seats with free standing chairs. Call the box office and explain what you need. They'll be able to direct you to seats that best fit your needs.
yes, they do
Technically you're not supposed to but if you hide it in the bottom of a bag or something they won't look too much into it
Not sure. Should be able to search parking on Google maps
Depends on the play, but most of the times, no
Absolutely can.But please know that there is not much space for your backpack...Hope you enjoy your time
30 min. For everything that needs to get done bathroom and beverages
You can take pictures before the show, at intermission and on the lobby. Other than that be considerate to the performers and audience and just turn it off.
Address it to a specific cast member by name, in care of "Palace Theatre - Stage Door," to the theater's address. Example: Ethan Slater c/o Palace Theatre - Stage Door 1564 Broadway New York, NY 10036 It will go to the cast mailroom
The theater is small but we sat in the center front balcony and it was a great view.
You have Olive Garden is directly across the street from the theater also in the area is Carmine's, Virgil's, Red Lobster and quite a few more restaurants.
