It is not a term of sale. But, box office personnel will attempt to sell your ticket for you. If they succeed, then you simply use the money to purchase a ticket on another date. Through the years, I have asked that the box office sell my ticket in this manner a few times & they have always been able to do so. If a show is not doing well financially, they may not be able to do it successfully. "Beautiful" is very successful, so your chances are good. But, we hardly have winters any more, so you should not worry too much about inclement weather.
If the show did go on, I expect not, but you can try. I bought my ticket on the Internet and I remember it cautioned me the ticket sales were final, no exchanges, no returns.
