Should I make an appointment to bring my bike in for new inner tubes and maybe new tires and a service?

I don't think they're taking appointments. It took me 2 hours to wait and get 2 tires replaced on a Saturday

Thanks for asking. Jonathan and Austin are correct: you do not need to make an appointment for service. The shop is slower in the winter, so it's a great time to get a bike serviced quickly! Our current policy is only 2 groups in the store at once, but it is subject to change.
