Yes, bring your own food. But if you can afford it, it would be ok to support the concessionaire since the perhaps revenues may be supporting the center. Cost of food is reasonable but choices may be limited. The nearby liberty state park, the pride of NJ where tourist can congregate and have a family picnic regretfully have no more concessionaire and the receiving structure where the many American flags the back of statue of liberty and where comfort rooms are located is a disgrace to us Americans because of possible neglect directed either to the state, park services and who else?
