It depends, they sell new and used. I'd say the price for new would range between 400 and 800 dollars.
The price should depend on the ability of the musician, a less advanced musician would be good with a lower end instrument. A good idea is ti look at several, try them and have the staff assist with your budget in mind. Keep in mind the violin itself is only part of the package, the bow is also important and can add to the overall cost.
We paid $150.00..they were having an end of school special..you might get lucky and get a back to school special...
We bought a used one for 350 that was in great condition but the best part is the staff the are the real deal.
From $150 and up depending on new/used and other factors.
It really depends on the ability of the player. You can buy a used violin (I'm guessing about $250) and up. An experienced player will spend upwards of $500. A bow will add to the cost. Atlantic Strings will give you the help you'll need to get the right instrument.
I agree with Ann. The violin I got for my daughter is around 500. However, they do lease to own them and you make monthly payments on them.
