In the meantime you can research the type of tattoo or tattoos you would like to wear for the rest of your life. I know 3 years feels like forever right now. It will go by faster than you think. Pick a design and hang it on your wall for a while. Maybe try a temporary tattoo in different areas of your body to see how you feel about it.
