Thanks. just called the venue and they assured me that my seats are not limited view now but may be blocked partially if the band brings big speakers or monitors. Anything closer to the middle is going to cost me more. Taking my chances as Section 1 seats are supposed to be great.
If I were you and not happy with that, I'd just take a lawn seat. Much better in my opinion.
That isn't necessarily true, thought you may not be able to see the entire stage. This can be reviewed by the map offered before purchasing.
Your seat is blocked by a column. It may not be that bad, or you may be directly behind it and you wont see anything
Limited view means if your seat is in the center there is an obstruction between your seat and the stage. Usually means a structure, like a support column. If your seat is to the far left or right it generally simply means you are mot going to be able to see the entire stage
