We just went to REO and Chicago. Four times they made everyone on the lawn and in the uncovered seats get under the roof. The concert was delayed one hour, opening act never played and REO only did a partial set. Oh, and the bands left the stage during those times so we were standing there lustening to canned music. The fourth time it wasn't even lightning and we had one employee telling us we couldn't go out and sit in our seats and another one under the roof telling us we couldn't stand in the aisle, that we had to find an open seat. the only open seats were in the VIP area and they wouldn't let anyone without a ticket in that area so we left before the concert ended. Very poor procedures imho.
If there are lightening strikes within 10 miles they do not let performers on stage and try to offer shelter. I was they for Luke Bryan when hurricane herminone came ashore. Everyone played their sets. No severe weather in Raleigh just some very wet and cold fans and employees
When I went to see Imagine Dragons they said it was calling for lighting and thunder, and they delayed the concert 1 hour. We had to sit in line and wait it out.
