What help could I get I am treated poorly where I live my husband is abusive and the kids is copying off him I need to know if I leave my home if I will get the support I need I don't drive and don't have my high school diploma could I get help?

You need to go to or call the 'women Abuse Center' that's what they'll recommend you to do and give you the crises phone number. They can't really give or do anything immediately about your situation just counseling and lending a ear. I've had several associates in abuse situations and told me this is what Lutheran did for them not a whole lot. I suggest you look up and call the hot line to the women abuse center for any help.

I started the Lutheran settlement house 4 years ago I go there for counseling they help me with housing they very are supportive when it comes to abusive situation

This place is only for daytime activities for the elderly. They may be able to guide you in the right direction. You may want to check out northwestern human services. They would have better answers for you
