Sounds like safety was their top priority. Better safe than sorry. Maybe the ride operator needed to depart and no one else.was certified for that ride. If you call their relations number they will.most likely offer a discount or great promo to win you back.
I have had that happen twice to us in three visits at six flags over texas. Usually we just assume there is a safety issue.
It's happened a couple of times when my family and I have gone, the ride malfunctioned so they had told everyone in line that the ride was shutting down until the problem was solved. As some one said above better to be safe than sorry.
Unless you are trying to ride just before they close that haven't happened to me. They normally close ride that need work the hole day.
I never had that problem last year. Odd.
The mr freeze it a toss up and the giant has problems rarely, but i have never had problems whith anything else
