Take your kid in and ask staff there to evaluate readiness. Our son worked with the range safety officer (another range) two or three times when he was younger. Once the RSO gave a thumbs up, everyone was comfortable.
Whatever age the parent feels comfortable with.
I believe 8 years old. But PLEASE, it puts everyone on guard when a young child handles a deadly weapon. Would you let an 8 year old drive a car?
I'm not sure there is any minimum age. It all comes down to safety for everyone. If you are experienced with a gun and your kid is very responsible (doesn't necessarily depend on age) then you shouldn't have a problem. I suggest taking the kid along and speaking with the staff. If you or anyone there has any concerns or doubts, don't do it.
I think it's 10 years old...
As long as they can safely see over the shooting table
I've seen families with 8-10 year old kids out on the lanes.
