There is an artist playing here in September. Is camping out in front of the venue days-even a week before the show even allowed?

nope, i wouldn't take a chance on it; given its downtown and not only will police be more likely to run you off, but i don't think it's the safest place either. just my thoughts based off as someone from fort worth.

Lol. I would say no if you are planning on bringing a tent. I wouldn't advise it. We do still have a homeless population that is about a mile east of the convention center. I live in the area but I would not say it is 100% safe it is dark there are the Water Gardens and sometimes homeless people do sleep down there. We do have the Omni Hotel to Sheraton the Radisson we have a Worthington Hotel just off Sundance Square we have a Fairfield Inn Hilton. Be smart and get a room!
