The tour will take up most of the day. My family packed sandwich's a thermos of coffee and another for hot chocolate for a warm up. There is a stop that has snacks and hot drinks to purchase. Old faithful grill is open and you can get food there as well. If you are cold when you get to old faithful spend 15 mins in the souvenir shop and you'll be ready for the ride back. The Snowmobiles have heated grips which were awesome for keeping hands warm. I thought it was gonna be a really cold tour but the gear they offer are really warm. We had a blast!
A few hours out to old faithful and back, with stops for photo opportunities of wildlife and hot springs. Very knowledgeable guides.
