Thank you for reaching out Timothy. Great advice from Thadd Fiala. We always recommend getting to the airport in plenty of time, factoring in traffic, ticketing lines, security lines, time to eat, etc. The 2 hours is the standard recommendation.
I'm guessing you're asking what time to arrive at CVG for a 10pm departure. As a rule, we always get to the airport 2 hours ahead of our flight time. But we just flew back to CVG at 9pm two weeks ago on a Monday and the airport was empty. Even the restaurants and shops had closed. I would plan on arriving 1.5 - 2 hours ahead of your flights departure time. Better safe than sorry.
That airport has been super fast all the times I've used it...I've flown out domestic and arrived and hour early. But no idea of the landscape right now, if flights are packed or barely booked.
