The fish are very grateful for the hatchery. They realize they wouldn’t be born otherwise.
I've been there as a volunteer for quite a few years, they are a fabulous, caring group of folks that run it !!! , I've seen the way they care for the fish & how well they're fed and cared for. I actually have participated on many occasions releasing them into the different brooks streams and rivers. It is a fabulous experience for me and the fish !!! I can assure you that they are very very well cared for and I believe they are very happy, I hope that makes you feel better !!! If not, go look for yourself, it's open to the public it's not a big secret!
