Yes, the office does similar to what heather elwell said about Ithaca. They give you coins (which is a little bulky- feels like you're scrooge mcduck) and they usually give you additional credit than what's swiped on your card!

Majority of the venders deal only in cash. Very few do cards. I made the same mistake but that'll goodness my daughter was there. Lol. It is a great thing to do on a early morning Saturday.
Yes you can! Go to the main office at the farmers market and they give you coins . They swipe your ebt card and ask how much you want to get. A few years ago they gave me double for my EBT it was so helpful. Don't know if it still works this way with double. Remember it Only can be used on food and plants that are edible. It covered many herbs for me too. Oh my I thought this was Ithaca farmers market! I honestly don't know how Syracuse farmers market works. I would go to there office and see.
