The site was clean and well maintained when I visited. Overall it seemed like a nice train station. My only issues are that it is not clear that you have to pay for parking as you exit the lot (that was a little confusing) and that the air conditioning was set too cold!

It was a very nice facility with restrooms and a couple of restaurants to eat in.
Not at this location. However, ubers are very reasonable to get you to a car rental place. Also, many car rentals will pick you up, and you drop them off at the rental location. Hope this helps.

Would have to transfer from regional service take RTS to victor then victor to canandaigua then from there jump geneva then as close you can get to cuss would be auburn.
No, it's a small Transportation Center not like the airport. This Transportation Center does not have rental cars that has taxis and Central bus system.
Station is in an area that is safe to use during train activity but it is not a good place to leave your car for overnight. Park at the Convention Center and take a cab. Parking lot is well lit and away from problem areas of the city, but no attendant.
Why does the #49 train from Penn Station to Syracuse / Chicago - no longer have a dining car or cafe car available to coach seat passengers??!! 6 + hours on a train with no available food or water is not making us happy. ):
Amtrak has an app you can download to your phone. I was able to purchase tickets one way for my brother from San Diego and it was very easy and simple. I would suggest doing this.

You would have to contact either Trailways, Greyhound or Amtrak either directly or online. Amtrak is the most comfortable and not that much more expensive than taking the bus.
Sorry, don't know. Have only gone from Syracuse to Buffalo, Boston and NYC. I can say that the train is only slightly more costly than bus and infinitely more comfortable, scenic and fun!
