Hi All, To find a local service center: Go to McIntoshlabs.com. roll over the SUPPORT tab ( NOT dealer locator), choose 'service network' and search for an authorized Service center. There are over 150 throughout the country. For out of warranty repairs, one does not need an authorized center. Unlike some brands, McIntosh is happy to support and sell parts to any USA repair guy. If you want to send it to McIntosh for repair, McIntosh does NOT supply a free box. However, you must buy correct pack from McIntosh parts department, without that, the glass WILL break. The turn around time for out of warranty repairs can be very long, so local is better and faster and you don't have to buy a box and ship. (IN-warrantee repairs we get to within 2 weeks).

Check with your local dealer, for repairs and there us a McIntosh group community page you can also post your question too and in some cases people will buy your even buy your unit for parts if yours can not be fixed. You can search Facebook for, The McIntosh Facebook Community. If you are more interested in definitely having it fixed and do not have a local dealer, you can contact McIntosh directly, request a shipping crate (for a fee) be sent to you. They will give you an RA number and the company will take a look for you and make suggestions on what it needs to be fixed. I checked eBay for a round about amount they are selling for. Depending o what is wrong, will probably be your determining factor for if u want to pay to have it fixed. Try that Facebook group, I am a member of that group as well. If you Do have a local service dealer, most often they will diagnose the repair for you for free, then you can decide how to proceed. I hope that helps. Good luck, great vintage McIntosh
