I'm getting phone calls that my social security number has been cancelled. I'm told to press 1for more information. Afraid to do as it might be a scam. How can I confirm that it is and my social security number is safe and secure?

Dont ever give out your number. I got 3 calls saying mine was being used for illegal activity and I laughed at them and when they asked for my ss number I asked them to tell me what it is. They will send a letter, they won't call
