It's been quite a while since I've had decent KFC. At the Yucca Valley location the management is obviously not just lacking, but almost aggressively negligent, allowing food outages and filthy/rundown store conditions. It's the same everywhere, it seems. That's not the only KFC with problems. In an era of fast food reinvention (think new high tech Wendy's locations) I think we should all give them a wide berth.

I moved up to Yucca from Palm Springs last April. My mom and I keep giving in and trying the KFC (drive through only) because we enjoy it from time to time, but we always end up disappointed - they no longer have honey mustard sauce, they are out of biscuits, the tenders are too greasy and taste old, we only got 4 bites of chicken in our famous bowls, yadda yadda yadda..... We, too, have heard it is a management issue (clearly), but I will say the staff is ALWAYS pleasant and friendly, so there's that...
