You can do it on the state police website on your phone & upload your picture, takes about 10 minutes. The law requires them to handle your FOID application within 30 days. Mine took 35...
Two ways , go online to the state police website look left on screen pick food register. Or go to gun store ask registration form fill it out . Before you do either go to Walgreen ask for passport picture cost 11 dollars because you need new pics for state foidcards. Send it in , wait for about 3 months.
So go into the store and they will assist you
