Cottage Health's emergency departments are open 24/7, and we are here to help. When a person needs emergency care to protect life or limbs, they should call 911 or go to a hospital emergency department. Our emergency departments will never turn someone away due to insurance status. Due to the nature of emergencies, cost estimates aren't provided at the time of emergency care, and the cost will depend on diagnosis and treatment unique to each situation. In non-emergency situations, primary care or urgent care may be the most appropriate and cost-effective level of care. Cottage Health offers financial assistance options, which are detailed on our website at www.cottagehealth.org/FAP.
Irrelevant. If you need to go to the emergency room, go to the emergency room. If its something that might get better with a nap, sandwich, and large glass of water try that first.
