We were there at the end of October and we only saw a few. Last year the trees were loaded.
They are very sparse but seem to be more active in the evening.
My family and i were there a week or so ago. The monarchs were there but apparently down a couple thousand. Normally there are up to 2000 of them but this year, we were told, only about 200 showed up.
Someone will show you where they are congregating.
When my sister and I went they where starting to arrive, and that was in the end of October. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
They told us this week that they have very very few, 225 only
