Have the fires affected the butterfly migration or the park? We are planning on coming down the week of Thanksgiving (2020), but want to make sure the fires which are happening now do not affect the trip.

Sweetie, northern CA is on fire. Will it effect the area? Yes it will. But the park is on the ocean....so maybe breeze will remove smoke. It was not Smokey a few weeks ago when we were there, I'll recommend find restaurant on the ocean...FINS Restaurant

The fires have only brought smoke. The butterflies have definitely started to arrive. The whales are also starting to show up for their migration. The weather is a bit chilly in the am but beautiful afternoos
