Late October to February is the best time to go
I have seen a tattered and faded male on June 1st not at this location but at another winter roost site. Monarchs normally breed at the end of February, the females then fly off in search of milkweed where they lay their eggs. The males stay at or near the winter roost sites and pollinate flowers but sadly die off in the course of the next few months.
No, sorry. Sparse if any
There were a few left last weekend
They winter there. In January it was beautiful and many were there. I've heard as of 2 weeks ago they were mostly gone. Sorry.
