Watch out for the tides in the caves. I know someone who got stuck and he had to be air lifted out.
Yes, depending upon the season. Summer to fall is the best. Very impressive. Also great caves North of Pismo pier, and within walking distance.
There is a little cave on a beach north of there and there is a little cave on north m9st end of Pismo during low tide. Both can be reached by foot
