It depends on how bad it is,most times they'll call in a orthopedic surgeon. Hopefully you want need that,i have heard horror story's about that.

It depends on how bad it is and what you have other than that. I have Sickle Cell so years back they wouldn't do surgery on my broken femur they said they're not sure they can handle it if I bleed unexpectedly. They're rather me be with specialist in a more equipped hospital. So by ambulance I was sent to Chapel Hill. As far as hospitalization, majority of the nurses are amazing and nice some are funny or sassy. It's a pretty great environment. There are those few though who act emotionless or rude. Wether its their personal life or not its never fun to deal with. But everyone's human so even the great nurses may get tired or overwhelmed. Please be patient with them. But you can directly call your nurse anyway with their phones.
