I went to one a few months ago and we got there about 45 min early and were very close to the front of the line. The earlier you get, the closer to the front you will be. There I almost always a line. Also, they will check your ID (because of the open bar in the venue) and take any pocket knives so be prepared for that. :)
Depends on how popular the artist is and how close you want to be.. Super popular and you want to be up front? Probably 30 mins early
