Yeah, sorry Karen, but addiction isn't considered a sickness in the eyes of a medical professional who sees this behavior on a regular basis. Hopefully your daughter finds the help she needs.
This hospital has a serious problem. They need to have one side for EMERGENCY ONLY and o e side for the folks that are not emergency cases. Its ridiculous when you have to lay in the ER for almost 16 hours before getting a room. I am sorry they need to get their act together before something happens to spark a law suit. I have a medical doctor that I see unless it's on the weekend I would not even be out here. My 88 year old mom has to come to the ER a lot and to have to wait through all of what I have witnessed is not all an emergency. This is just not handled properly. Please consider another alternative.
