If you want more than the coffee shop or the steak house you will have to get it before you reach the Longstreet. There is no other place to eat close by.
The cafe is fine for breakfast, lunch. We did eat at the steakhouse for dinner which was ok. I think the cafe would have been ok for dinner too.
On your way in or out, try the Crowbar Cafe in Shoshone. The cook, Steve, is a great guy. Tell him I sent you.
Death Valley Junction has a pretty good restaurant only open part-time I would suggest calling ahead of time...
El Valle is about 8 miles away and the food is amazing

So yes it is pretty good breakfast lunch and dinner and the diner is open until about 10:11 and they also have a pizza place and a steakhouse which is good
Don't know. I always get there too late for dinner and the diner closes about 9-10p. Never have time for breakfast. The convenience store has an ok selection of ready made stuff.
