This time of the year is really reasonable. A one bedroom ocean front will not be $500 like one of the previous responses this time of year. I have found calling in gets the best price. Ask them if they have any promotions and they should give you the best rate. I actually booked my vacation for next September at a 50 percent off the regular rate. Give them a call
