Your current license
To renew your standard Ohio License, you only need your existing license, as always. To renew your Ohio License and make it a federally compliant ID for federal security, you need proof of citizenship, date of birth, full legal name, social security number and 2 items to prove your address. Please refer to the www.OhioBMV.gov website for the acceptable documents list and interactive document checker. Or call during business hours to discuss the options on the document list with a clerk!
