Some holes in this area of the river can be up to 30 feet deep during summer months. Deeper during periods of high water. Lots of submerged logs. Be careful swimming there.
Yes in some spots it's very deep and it just drops off into deeper water .Be safe wear a water vest to be on the safe side.
