It all depends on your preference and the size limitations of your RV. The important thing is in how you mount the device. Habit Freight sells some pretty good mounting brackets for reasonable prices. The next step is to make sure that the spot you want to mount your device to has enough support to hold the weight safely.
But also remember its a moving vehicle. You need to be able to lock it down
