This is by far the worst place I have lived. Management is awful, they enforce random rules whenever it suits them best. Currently parking is “assigned” but not at all enforced. You pay quite a bit for a parking spot here (which is not optional, there are no open parking spots). Now management has decided to do daily sweeps, and tow if you are parked askew, in the wrong spot, or are not displaying the parking permits correctly. Let’s get into the apartments. They were built just over a year ago. The doors on the inside of the apartments don’t close correctly (info given to me from maintenance, after coming to fix my door) due to the buildings settling. There are parts in the laminate flooring that sink when you step on them, feeling like there’s a hole under your foot. Fans in the bathroom randomly turn on and off. Drawers are clearly broken. The door to the patio doesn’t latch and lock. You’re lucky if you get a maintenance person to come and fix your issue in a timely manner (took two weeks and 3 missed appointments) for them to come and fix the doors. The manager of the property has recently decided to enforce rules on what seems like my apartment only. Saying that we can't have our SMALL outdoor freezer on the deck. We have lived here since Feb and they have said nothing to us about it till now. There are multiple other units that are either a storage area (but they blocked the view into their deck) and other items like bikes, snowboards, and kids swings. Nothing has been done to those apartments. Over all this is not worth the almost 2,350$ in rent. I would not recommend this place to live to anyone I know.

They didn’t inform us we were renting an assisted living unit. Made our movers wait for 40 minutes while they filled out new paperwork for a regular unit. Then told us it was our fault and was unwilling to assist with the time we paid for and lost with our movers.

They'll sell you an ADA unit without telling you.

Great management that is friendly and inviting that will handle any issue or concern that might arise during the initial move in process at the Byway Apartments.
