Horses lay down all the time if they didn’t I would be concerned like most animals yes horses do lay down
These horses have the best care available 24/7 !!
I asked ones about something like that and one of the answer was that these horses are old. I can't expect having young childrens on top of a healthy horse for the first time in their life. I can't tell the difference between an old or sick horse.
