Also keep an eye on the website and or call them. They run a program for people that are on public assistance to help offset the cost of spray/neuter. Here is a copy and paste from the website. "For a limited time, PAWS is offering $20 spay and neuter surgeries for owned dogs and cats. To qualify, pet owners must present ACCESS card or similar proof of public assistance." UPDATE: this program is no longer active as of November 7, 2017. 2nd Update: If you want a cheaper alternative and your from Philadelphia there's a place called Morris animal refuge. For 40 bucks they spay or neuter any kitten/cat and or rabbit. And the price for puppies and dogs is only 60 bucks. They don't do the surgery at the refuge where you pay, but they give you a list of doctors that participate in the program across the whole city. I've used them several times and have had nothing but an uneventful experience. And the choice to pick your own doctor is a plus. Search for Morris animal refuge dot org
Spay/Neuter (includes rabies and distemper vaccinations if needed): Cats: $60
I got my puppy fix for around 90 bucks I'm guessing a kitten would be around the same or less.
